In this circular design, the Jewish holidays are symbolically represented and flow organically into each other. The basket, which holds apples as well as some of the seven species, is in the shape of a shofar representing the Jewish New Year. Purim masks are embedded into the vines that fall beneath the Chanukah dreidels. Above the Torah are two doves that symbolize freedom during Passover. The Shabbat candles are painted within the branches of the Tu B’Shevat tree that holds the rest of the seven species as well as the lulav and etrog for the holiday of Sukkot.
